We are very excited to start a new chapter of Green Deshis in Arkansas! Green Deshis continues to inspire Bengalis living throughout the country to become environmental advocates and engage with their local communities. We want to welcome Esha Ali, who will be leading our volunteering and fundraising events in Arkansas. Esha is currently a senior in high school at Little Rock Central High. After graduating, she plans on going on to her undergraduate studies, majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. She is the president of the Muslim Students Association at her school, and she is also very involved in the Little Rock Bangladeshi (LRB) community, serving as a cultural performance teacher and youth activity organizer for many events. She is a Bollywood and Bengali dancer and founded the South Asian Culture Club at LR Central High. In her spare time, she enjoys writing music, singing, dancing, reading, and baking.
